A patient is brought to A and E very unwell from what is a suspected meningococcal septicaemia. He begins to bleed from his venflon site and nose. You notice purpura and petechiae on his limbs. Blood tests reveal a prolonged PT and APTT and a low fibrinogen level. Platelets are sightly low. How would you manage this patients bleeding?
